The Five Harmonies (or five dimensions of resilience) are expressions of the five elements of Asian and Ayurvedic medicines.
These encompass wisdom of the ancient sages of Taoist philosophy and Chinese medicine.
These teachings are also found in the ancient Japanese healing art of Jin Shin Jyutsu.
This ancient wisdom is being renewed and rediscovered on modern research and science. For me, this an ongoing exploration and journey.
The Five Harmonies teach a way of life that is rooted in spirit, grounded in the natural world, and embodied.
With awareness and inquiry practices we connect with our own inner guidance while creating well-being and harmony of body, mind, spirit.
As we create harmony, compassion, creativity, abundance, and wellness within our being, we can help create conscious community and work to bring healing, renewal, resilience, and well-being to the world.

Suzanne has been involved in the healing arts since she was 17 when she began as an herbalist. An awakening at age 16 led her to follow her heart, take a different path, and create a meaningful life.
She met her first Chinese medicine teacher in 1975 and ran her own practice for over 30 years. At its core, Chinese medicine teaches a way of life rooted in the wisdom of ancient sages.
Suzanne has taught classes in Chinese medicine, Qi Gong, and Living in Harmony for decades. Five Harmonies Academy integrates her experience, studies, and practice of Chinese medicine, Jin Shin Jyutsu, philosophy, and meditation to offer the essence of these teachings that can be applied to modern life.
